INFORMATION WE COLLECT
• Artists: Name, email address, payment information
• Fans: Vote data only — anonymous, no name or email required
• All users: Device type, browser type, IP address (standard web data)
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
• To provide and improve the DAVOTE platform
• To process artist payments via Square
• To send artists account updates
• To analyze platform usage
• We do NOT sell your information to any third party
DATA STORAGE
Data is stored securely using Google Firebase. Vote data is retained for 90 days after an event. Artist account data is retained while subscription is active.
FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM (META) INTEGRATION
Where an artist chooses to connect their Facebook Page or Instagram account to DAVOTE (for example, to publish event or results posts), we receive only the access permissions the artist approves, and we use them solely to perform the actions the artist requests. We do not sell Meta user data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Artists can disconnect at any time from their Meta account settings (Settings & privacy > Business integrations), or by contacting us.
COOKIES
DAVOTE uses standard browser cookies to maintain session information. No advertising cookies are used.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or by following the data deletion instructions.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
DAVOTE uses Firebase (Google), Netlify, Formspree, and Square. Each has their own privacy policy.
